How to reach us
By car
Arriving from Milan (highway-A1), take the Barberino di Mugello exit and follow indications to Borgo S. Lorenzo (10km), then for Dicomano (15 kms). At Dicomano, start following the signs to S. Godenzo. At the first big tree-lined avenue on the left as you exit the center of Dicomano, you will find the sign for "Fattoria Il Lago".
If you are arriving from Rome (always highway-A1), exit in Incisa V.no and take the direction towards Forlì and Pontassieve (20 kms); after Pontassieve, continue in the direction of Forlì and Dicomano. After 25 kms, you will arrive at Dicomano where you must follow the first sign towards Borgo S. Lorenzo. At the first stop in the main square of Dicomano, turn right and at the first big tree-lined avenue on the left you will find the sign for "Fattoria Il Lago".
By train
If you wish to arrive by train from Florence's main train station, Santa Maria Novella, take the train towards "Pontassieve/Borgo S. Lorenzo" and get down in "Dicomano" after about 40 minutes. From the train station, it takes about 30 minutes walking time to get to the farm so we recommend you reserve a taxi a few days before your arrival. By plane
If you come by plane, the nearest airports are: Florence, Pisa and Bologna. However, if you fly into Milano or Rome, it is very easy to reach Florence by car and by train. For information about the airports, visit Aeroporti.com.
