Three types of wines are created on the estate
The “Chianti Rufina” is our top wine, a simple product but pleasant for its delicate characteristic. Then there is the “Chianti Rufina Riserva”, a red wine with a sturdy structure and longevity. Lastly, our “Pian de’ Guardi”, highlight of our farm which reveals the vast potential of the farm’s terroir.
The farm’s philosophy, guided by strict supervision in the production of its own wines, has been to constantly aim at raising the quality of the wines, first of all through accurate, substantial work in the vineyard and successively in the wine cellar.
The farm also produces in a limited quantity: “Vinsanto”, a sweet wine made our of raisins and which is aged in characteristic casks; “Grappa”, which is distilled exclusively from the residue of grapes grown on the farm used to make our wines; and extra virgin olive oil, with delicate sensory properties.
